Keep the Fire by Mason Torres

Keep the Fire tells the remarkable story of Pastor Woody Martin and a lifetime devoted to Pentecostal ministry, healing prayer, spiritual warfare, deliverance and the message of Jesus Christ.

From the opening of Victory Temple in 1974 to decades of ministry through The Voice of Victory, Pastor Woody and Peggy Martin built a work centered on prayer, faith and helping people who came through the doors carrying addiction, sickness, grief, fear, family problems and spiritual bondage.

This is more than the biography of a preacher.

It is the story of a marriage that endured more than sixty years. A church that stayed. A preacher who continued serving into his eighties. Families who came looking for hope. Testimonies of healing, miracles and deliverance. And the personal cost of remaining faithful through disappointment, opposition and loss.

After Peggy Martin's death in 2026, Woody faced one of the hardest seasons of his life. His own fire had grown dim. Then three simple words carried an unexpected message back to the man who had spent decades encouraging others:

Keep the fire.
